Dear prospective home buyer, 

We hope you fall in love with this home just like we did. While we are looking forward to a new chapter in our lives, we will miss this sweet home and this wonderful neighborhood. 

We have loved our many adventures exploring Capitol Hill. This neighborhood has felt like the perfect combination of vibrant and cozy. Sam and I have happily searched out the best pastries and doughnuts, coffee, and Italian food, while Henry (our pup) has happily taken note of where they give out the best dog treats.  We will treasure our many memories of walking along paths lined with trees or picnicking in nearby parks, eating on rooftops, and taking our pup to play with the other Cap Hill pups. Capitol Hill is the kind of neighborhood where everyone comes out to play in the first snow together and complements your dog in his snow shoes discovering snow for the first time. It has nearby cool bars and live music if you enjoy the night scene, and is a close walk to gyms, museums, the Paramount, Pike Place Market, and so much more. Sam would walk every day to and from work and sometimes grab us a quick delicious meal at one of the many wonderful restaurants on his way home from work. 

We have treasured living in the heart of Seattle with the option of escaping out our back door to the magical private outdoor haven of our back patio. It is easy to forget you are in the city when you are lounging on the sofa in the back patio with trees around you, ivy climbing up the walls, and birds chirping. Our patio has been the favorite get-together spot for our friend group these last years and will be missed dearly by our friends and pup, Henry, as well as Sam and I. We have loved summer night celebrations under string lights with music and barbecuing, as well as huddling around an outdoor fire on cold winter nights with friends and hot drinks. 

The other thing that made it hard to remember sometimes that we were right in the middle of the city was the experience of living in a close-knit community within our small condo where our neighbors know us and our pup by name. It felt like we had the best of all the worlds living in Capitol Hill in the heart of it all with a huge back patio in a close community with friendly familiar faces.  

In addition to these things, we have also thoroughly enjoyed the coziness of our home. Because my fiancé and I just lived in the condo together with our pup, we converted the second bedroom to a cozy reading room and an additional place to store our adventure gear. We have loved the reading room, as well as our big living room space with lots of light always coming in through the windows. 

This home has been the perfect home base for adventures or lazing around the town during the weekend.
