Burke-Gilman trail:

The Burke-Gilman trail is a 27-mile multi-use trail that begins in Ballard and ends in Bothell but connects to other trails going as far as Issaquah - I used to bike to the Woodinville wineries from montlake on these trails! While Matthews Beach is tucked away from the hustle and bustle, the burke-gilman trail ties you through seattle and beyond! Bike over to fremont, or east to Blythe Park. This trail will be your connection to everything.
